More photos taken with the Canon EF 70-300L lens
Continuing from my previous post, here are some more photos taken with the Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6L IS USM… this time using the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
From this experience, the Canon 100-400 looks a tiny bit sharper than the 70-300L if you look at the photos closely.. but overall both are very good. I am more inclined to move the 100-400 along as I don’t think I’ll be using it to its full capacity. If I do a lot of bird or wildlife photography then that’s a different story but for now, the 70-300 should be good enough for me that when I need a tighter frame, I’ll just crop the photo.
I’m hoping to do a quick test of the Canon 100-400 with the EOS R before the 100-400 gets sold.
